Abstract:

the energy harvesting technologies provide a promising power solution for future distributed and mobile electronics. The power conditioning circuits act an important role in the vibration energy harvesting systems. In the piezoelectric energy harvesting (PEH) systems, the development of energy harvesting interface circuit has experienced four generations since the 2000s: the passive rectifiers, synchronized single-switch circuits, doubleswitch circuits, and multi-switch circuits. It gradually arrives at an understanding that the increase of voltage transition numbers helps minimize the energy dissipation in power conditioning. On the other hand, since the third generation, the bidirectional energy transfer was introduced under the alias active energy harvesting, energy injection, energy investment, pre-biasing, etc., towards larger energy extraction. More energy extraction creates more income, while less energy dissipation reduces the expenditure. The synergy of both features has led to a substantial increase of the net harvested energy. This talk briefly reviews the development of four generations of energy harvesting interface circuits. Base on that, we introduce a general idea and some practical implementations towards the cutting-edge PEH interface circuits, in particular, the multilevel bidirectional power conversion circuits. The global view on the historical evolution of the PEH circuits, their synergy with the mechatronic dynamics, and the related applications helps the analysis and prediction towards the future development of piezoelectric power management circuits.


简历:

梁俊睿博士是上海科技大学信息科学与技术学院的助理教授/研究员。他本科和硕士毕业于上海交通大学仪器科学与技术系,博士毕业于香港中文大学机械与自动化工程学系。梁博士现为SCI索引期刊IET Circuits, Devices & Systems的副主编。他是IEEE电路与系统学会电力与能源电路与系统技术委员会委员和ASME航空航天分部能源收集技术委员会委员。梁博士的研究兴趣包括:能量转换和电力电子,动能收集和振动控制,机电一体化和物联网设备等。梁博士在国际学术期刊和会议共发表技术论文45篇并申请两项中国专利。梁博士先后于2009和2010年IEEE国际信息与自动化大会荣获两项最佳论文奖,他是2011年香港中文大学『研究生学术成果奖』的获得者。
